Paste a list of URLs, a log file or any text and get the domain names it contains. The tool uses the Public Suffix List, so it knows that the root domain of blog.shop.example.co.uk is example.co.uk.

How to extract domains

  1. Paste your URLs or text into the box.
  2. Choose whether to remove www, keep only root domains and include e-mail domains.
  3. Copy the list or download it as a TXT or CSV file.

Domain extractor features

  • Root domains detected correctly for endings like .co.uk and .com.au.
  • Counts how often each domain appears.
  • Supports internationalised domains, shown in Unicode or punycode.
  • Ignores file names such as photo.png that are not real domains.

Subdomain or root domain?

A subdomain such as shop.example.com belongs to the root domain example.com. Keep subdomains to see exactly which hosts appear, or choose root domains to group them by owner, for example for link audits.

Frequently asked questions

Can I extract domains from e-mail addresses?

Yes, the part after @ is included unless you switch that option off.

Why is a word with a dot not listed?

Only names with a real domain ending (TLD) are shown, so file names and version numbers are skipped.

Is my list uploaded?

No. Everything is processed in your browser.
