Which format should I pick?
MP3 for listening anywhere. M4A for Apple devices. WAV for editing. FLAC for a lossless archive of the decoded audio. Original track for the fastest result with exactly the original quality; the file type then depends on the video (for example M4A for AAC audio or OGG for Opus).
Frequently asked questions
What is the best quality option?
Original track. It copies the audio without changing it. WAV and FLAC also add no further loss, but they create larger files.
Why did I get an .ogg or .m4a file with Original track?
The original audio is saved in the file type that matches its codec: AAC becomes .m4a, Opus becomes .ogg, MP3 stays .mp3.
Can I extract audio from a long video?
Yes, up to 60 minutes and 500 MB.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, in any modern mobile browser.
