Teachers often need to turn marks out of 100 into marks out of 10, 20 or another maximum, or the other way round. Enter one score or a whole list, choose the original and the new scale, and every converted mark appears instantly with its percentage.
How to convert scores
- Type or paste the scores, separated by commas, spaces or new lines.
- Choose the scale they are out of and the scale to convert to.
- Choose the decimals and rounding, then copy one score, copy all or export CSV.
Score converter features
- Common scales from 10 to 100 and any custom maximum.
- Normal, always-up or always-down rounding with 0 to 2 decimals.
- Average, highest and lowest converted score.
- Warnings for scores above the maximum or entries that are not numbers.
How the conversion works
The score is divided by its maximum and multiplied by the new maximum. For example 72.5 out of 100 is 7.25 out of 10 and 14.5 out of 20. Percentages stay the same on every scale.
