How to compress a video
- Upload your video (MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI or WEBM).
- Choose Light, Recommended or Strong compression, and optionally a lower resolution.

Which settings should I choose?

How much smaller will my video get?
It depends on the original. Videos from phones and cameras usually shrink a lot. Videos that were already compressed, for example downloaded from a website, may not get smaller, and the tool tells you when that happens.
Does compressing a video reduce the quality?
Compression always removes some detail, but the Light and Recommended levels are tuned so the difference is hard to see on normal screens.
